Dustin Edwards is the owner and principal of CapFi Lending, an Austin-based mortgage brokerage he built to give borrowers more options and more personal service than a single bank can offer. He began his career in residential lending after attending Grand Valley State University. In Michigan he worked for one of the nation’s largest privately held mortgage lenders, then became a top-producing loan officer and sales manager at a regional bank before bringing his experience to Texas.

With 22 years in mortgage lending and thousands of clients helped, Dustin knows how confusing the home buying process can feel. As a broker, he shops multiple lenders to find the right fit for each client, whether that’s a first-time buyer, a self-employed borrower, a veteran, or a real estate investor. He takes the time to understand each client’s short- and long-term goals, then guides them through every step in an organized, no-surprises way.

Dustin lives in Austin, TX, where his favorite job title is Dad. When he’s not helping families find their way home, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors with his son, staying active in the community, and still logging miles around Town Lake.
